The office of Property Administration deals primarily with issues related to real property. They are responsible for property aquisitions, dispositions, City leases, encroachments, easements, right-of-ways, and records research and maintenance. In addition, they represent the City as the Trustee of the approximately 750 City, County and WFISD excess properties that have been foreclosed on for back taxes. As a result, they are responsible for the administration, disposition, and overall maintenance of the properties. The Property Administration Office supervises the Lake Lots and Lien Divisions.
The City of Wichita Falls Property Management Division is giving notice of 1 parcel of trustee property for sale. The bid opening will be on May 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Bid packets with information will be available for pickup prior to the bid opening in the Property Management office, Room 107, in Memorial Auditorium. The City of Wichita Falls is offering two (2) separate hunting leases located in Archer County, Texas to the general public by sealed bid. Bid packages are available for pick up at the office of Property Administration, Room 107, 1300 7th Street, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. Sealed bids are due at 3:00 PM with bid opening at 3:15 PM May 16, 2018 in the City Council Chambers. The successful bidder will be able to enter into a lease with the City upon approval of the City Council on June 5, 2018. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept that offer considered most advantageous to the city.
