In order to obtain one of the required individual licenses listed below in Wichita Falls, a test must be taken. Testing is conducted by a proctor at the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District in the Environmental Division. Apprentices must first complete the required training in order to take a test. Artists from out of town/out of state may be able to take the test without the Health District's training if they provide proof of training/experience and it meets the requirements of the Health District. Artists from out of town/out of state with a different type of individual license may not have to take the test in Wichita Falls if it meets the requirements of the Health District.

Fees

  • Initial testing fee: $103.00
    • which covers two attempts to pass the examination, and which amount will be credited toward the initial annual body art operator license fee
  • Additional attempts to pass the examination: $52.00
    • which will not be credited toward any license or permit fees
