Holiday Trash Schedule

  The City does not pick up trash on the following holidays: 

•  New Years Day 
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
•  President's Day
•  Memorial Day 
•  Fourth of July 
•  Labor Day 
•  Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
•  Christmas Eve 
•  Christmas Day

The Transfer Station and Landfill will be closed on the day of each holiday, and during the week of each holiday, there is no Wednesday Organic Recycling Pickup.

Other Holidays

Trash schedules remain the same during all other FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED holidays, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day. 

Independence Day - 4th of July
Friday, July 4, 2025
Monday and Tuesday collection service will remain as normally scheduled.  Thursdays route will be shifted to Wednesday, July 2nd, and Friday routes will be shifted to Thursday, July 3rd.  There will be no organics recycling pick up on Wednesday, July 2nd. 

Labor Day
Monday, September 1, 2025
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, Sep 3th. 

Thanksgiving
Thursday & Friday, November  27-28, 2025
Monday and Tuesday will remain on the normal schedule.  There will be no trash pickup on Thursday or Friday of this week.  Thursday is shifted up to Wednesday, and Friday will be shifted to Saturday.  There will be no organics recycling pick up on Wednesday, November 26th.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and Thursday, December 25, 2025 
City offices will be closed on Wednesday December 24th and Thursday December 25th for the Christmas holiday.  There will be no organics recycling pickup on Wednesday, December, 24st.

New Year's Day
Thursday, January 1, 2026 
City offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, for the New Year's Day holiday.  There will be no organics recycling pickup on Wednesday, December, 31st.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 19th, 2026
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There will be no organics collection on Wednesday, January 22nd.

Washington's Birthday (President's Day)
Monday, February 16, 2026
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There will be no organics collection on  Wednesday, February 19th.

Memorial Day
Monday, May 25, 2025
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, May 27th.
