Holiday Trash Schedule

  The City does not pick up trash on the following holidays: 

•  New Years Day 
•  President's Day
•  Memorial Day 
•  Fourth of July 
•  Labor Day 
•  Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
•  Christmas Eve 
•  Christmas Day

The Transfer Station and Landfill will be closed on the day of each holiday, and during the week of each holiday, there is no Wednesday Organic Recycling Pickup.

Other Holidays

Trash schedules remain the same during all other FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED holidays, Martin Luther King Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day. 

Thanksgiving
Thursday & Friday, November 23-24, 2023 
There will be no trash pickup on Thursday or Friday of this week. Monday and Tuesday remain on the regular schedule. Thursday is shifted BACK to Wednesday, and Friday will be shifted to Saturday.
There is no organics collection on Wednesday, Nov 22nd. 

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Monday, December 25, 2023, and Tuesday, December 26, 2023 
The Christmas trash pickup schedule will be adjusted as follows: Monday, December 25, will move to Tuesday, December 26, and Tuesday will move to Wednesday, December 27. Thursday and Friday will be the normal schedule. There will be no curbside organics recycling pickup on Wednesday, December 27.

New Year's Day
Monday, January 1, 2024 
City offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, for the New Year’s Day holiday. The trash pickup for Monday, January 1st, will move to Tuesday, January 2nd, and Tuesday, January 2nd, to Wednesday, January 3rd.  
There will be no organics collection on Wednesday, January 3rd.

Washington's Birthday (President's Day)
Monday, February 19, 2024
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There will be no organics collection on Wednesday, Feb 21st.

Memorial Day
Monday, May 27, 2024
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, May 29th.

Independence Day - 4th of July
Thursday, July 4, 2024
City offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. Monday and Tuesday collection service will be as normally scheduled. Thursday collection service will shift up to Wednesday, July 3rd.
There is no organics collection on Wednesday, July 3rd.

Labor Day
Monday, September 2, 2024
Monday routes will be shifted to Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be shifted to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will remain on the normal schedule. There is no organics collection on Wednesday, Sep 4th.
