Aggressive Animals

An aggressive animal is defined as any animal who is not provoked into defending itself, or attacking any other animal or humans. Dogs that are barking from within the safe confines of a fenced yard are not considered aggressive.

All animal bites, scratches or attacks which cause a break in the skin shall be reported to Animal Control.

We do have a Dangerous Ordinance that defines and sets restrictions for dogs that may attack humans or other domestic animals.
