The Wichita Falls Animal Services Center (WFASC) actively partners with certified 501(c)(3) animal rescue organizations to help save lives and place animals in safe, loving homes. We welcome new rescue partners and look forward to expanding our network to provide more opportunities for rehabilitation, rehoming, and foster care. Rescue groups may take in animals from our facility for a variety of reasons, including medical needs, behavioral concerns, or simply a lack of space. While we work directly with rescue organizations, we do not coordinate directly with individual foster homes. All rescue partners must comply with local ordinances and state regulations. To begin partnering with us, rescue groups must submit a completed application along with proof of IRS 501(c)(3) status. Rescue organizations can request specific animals by emailing wfasc@wichitafallstx.gov or by visiting the shelter in person to evaluate and tag animals before their release date. Animal availability can be viewed on 24petconnect.com/PP2585. Please note that only authorized ASC staff may enter restricted areas of the facility, and a staff member will assist during evaluations.
