The Parks and Recreation Department offers some excellent choices for sport activities in the City. Softball reins supreme with over 5000 participants on 258 teams playing in the City League and various tournaments. But, there are plenty of other exciting activities including tennis, golf, basketball, disc golf, skateboarding, bicycling, running, rollerblading, dance, aerobics and more.
Due to numerous players and coaches still on vacation we have extended the deadline for the Fall Softball, Kickball, and Flag Football season. We will continue to take registration all next week. Friday July 25 will now be the deadline. I will have the schedules ready July 30th and the season will begin Aug. 11th.
