Responsibilities
The Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) of the City of Wichita Falls has programs for low-income households to help them pay their rent. A portion of the rent is paid directly to the landlord on behalf of the families.
How to Qualify
In order to qualify for our program you must place your name on our waiting list and meet HUD income eligibility requirements. The wait may be 6 to 12 months, or more depending on our funding levels. Unfortunately, we do not have emergency assistance available. We accept applications on any Tuesday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm in room 301 of the Memorial Auditorium, 1300 7th St. |
