Immunization Services
*Please Note: The December 23, 2015 late immunization clinic has been cancelled.
Flu Vaccinations
Flu Shots are recommended for all persons 6 months of age and older.
  • Flu Shots provide full protection in 10-14 days.
  • Any injection may result in a slight fever or soreness at the injection site.

Flu Mist is available for healthy persons 2 years – 49 years of age.

  • Flu Mist provides quicker protection.
  • The Flu Mist may cause a slight fever and a runny nose.
Payment Options:
The Following Insurance types can be billed for flu shots:             
  • Medicaid
  • CHIP
  • Medicare Part B Only
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance (BCBS)

Please be aware that you are held responsible for any fee not covered by your insurance.

Clients listed below will pay a private pay cost of $20 for a Flu Shot or Flu Mist.

  • Children 6 months – 18 years of age with private insurance not listed above.
  • Adults 19 years of age and older with private insurance not listed above.
  • Adults 19 years of age and older without insurance.
Children 6 months - 18 years of age who fall in one of the following categories, will be asked to pay $4, $8, or $16 based on family size and income.
  • Children who are American Indian
  • Children who are Alaskan Native
  • Children who do not have any health insurance (uninsured)
  • Children who are underinsured:
    • Children have private insurance, but coverage does not include vaccines;
    • Children’s private insurance only covers selected vaccines;
    • Children’s private insurance caps vaccine at a certain amount.
Clinic hours: Flu vaccinations are available during regular clinic hours
Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am 
Thursday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Late clinics are available from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

  -PPSV-23 $93 (65 years old or older does not need a prescription) 
  -PCV-13 $210 (This is a newer vaccine)

The Immunization Clinic offers routine vaccines for children and adults. Vaccines are also available for those traveling abroad. Texas Vaccines for Children patient eligibility changes in low cost vaccinations effective January 1, 2012. The Texas Department of State Health Services has developed policy changes to the Texas Vaccines for Children childhood vaccine program. More Information 
Clinic hours
