The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District Immunization Clinic offers routine vaccines for children and adults. Vaccines are also available for those traveling abroad. Travelers need to consider the need for vaccinations at least 2 to 4 weeks before traveling because most vaccines take at least 2 weeks to take full effect.
“Highlights of the Decades from the WFMA” is on display at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at MSU Texas. For more than six decades, the Wichita Falls The Museum of Art at MSU Texas has acquired artwork through generous donations and well-planned purchases resulting in a remarkable Permanent Collection of American Art. “Highlights from the Decades” explores how the WFMA collected through the decades to create a rich educational resource for MSU Texas and the surrounding North Texas communities. LiveWell Wichita County offers a free cooking class on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Health District. This class will be from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM and will feature Monte Cristo Sliders. Registration ends on November 15, 2023. Seats are limited, so register today.
Jefferson Elementary
Attention all Pickleball players!! Did you know the Wichita Falls Recreation Department offers indoor Pickleball every Monday and Wednesday? Grab your paddle and your ball, and come down to Jefferson Elementary between 6 pm - 9 pm for some indoor Pickleball action. Players of all skill levels are welcome! Recreation Center
Learn techniques of acrylic painting from instructor Chris Mayfield. Classes are held every Wednesday. from 6 PM to 7 PM. Cost is $35 per month.
