His work reinterprets contemporary pop culture images, focusing on super-heroes and villains and revitalizing them with a painterly approach. As always, exhibits at The Kemp are open to the public free of charge during all open business hours.

  3. Wichita Falls Ride to Read

    Children wishing to visit the library during the summer months will be able to take a bus for free to the library. Any child ages 8 and up can ride the City bus to and from the library for free. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, who may also ride to the library without paying a fare. Fare cards are available for pickup at the library. Children will have the back of their fare card stamped as validation that they have visited the library. The event begins May 28th and ends August 23rd, 2019.

Bids will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent until 1:30 pm, June 17, 2019, and publicly opened and read aloud at that time.   9. Downtown Parade/ Street Closures

    The Texas Shrine Association is hosting their State Ceremonial Session Parade this Saturday. The street will be blocked from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The parade route will start from MPEC at 4th street. Streets closed to traffic will be Indiana from 4th to 10th Street. For those visiting Downtown during the parade, it is recommended to use Ohio and Lamar Streets to access your destination.
