The latest exhibit in the Galleria at the Forum features the artwork of veteran watercolorist Gale Cochran-Smith. This is the first solo exhibit for Ms. Smith, who has exhibited widely in local and regional shows in the past. She's also currently the president of the Chisholm Trail Art Association based in Bowie. Ms. Cochran-Smith's current exhibit, "Go With The Flow", showcases watercolors focusing on technical detail and draftsmanship to convey the beauty of the everyday world.

The Kemp is the latest exhibit in the What's Up Downstairs? Gallery at the Kemp features the artwork of WFHS art teacher Chris Mayfield. His work reinterprets contemporary pop culture images, focusing on super-heroes and villains and revitalizing them with a painterly approach. As always, exhibits at The Kemp are open to the public free of charge during all open business hours.

The 36th annual National Travel and Tourism Week celebrates and showcases the contributions and accomplishments of the U.S. travel industry. This Week the Wichita Falls CVB, along with tourism partners, are celebrating what travel means to Wichita Falls and is encouraging locals to explore and learn more about Wichita Falls and its attractions, the CVB will host a city-wide scavenger hunt where clues will be revealed every day this week on the CVB's Facebook page.

The Wichita Falls City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of Municipal Auditorium, 1300 7th Street, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The meetings are open to the public. The City Council Agenda is posted on the City Website the Friday prior to the scheduled Council meeting.

Education for individuals who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Held once a week for nine weeks. Taught by trained Health Educators using evidence-based Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) Curriculum.
