    The latest exhibit at the Galleria at the Forum highlights the abstract expressionist work of local artist Danielle Janecek. Growing up in rural Texas immersed the artist in appreciation for the natural world which continues to this day. Working with mixed media to find the abstraction of her observations, she builds images in layers organically to find the final visual statement in each piece.

  2. City Council Meeting

    February 19, 2019, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ Municipal Auditorium.

    The Wichita Falls City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of Municipal Auditorium beginning at 8:30 a.m. The meetings are open to the public. The City Council Agenda is posted on the City Website the Friday prior to the scheduled Council meeting.

    The Kell House Museum invites you to take an active role in History! Help bring the past to life as a Kell House Docent! Share the amazing history of this community and its leaders with visitors from both our local area and around the world. The Kell House is offering a free training class for those interested in guided tours of the Museum. The two-part class will take place on Tuesday, February 19th and Thursday, February 21st from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Participants will learn about the history of Wichita Falls and the role the Kell family played in its growth, as well as the architecture and antiques of the Kell House.
