    The latest exhibit at the Galleria at the Forum highlights the abstract expressionist work of local artist Danielle Janecek. Growing up in rural Texas immersed the artist in appreciation for the natural world which continues to this day. Working with mixed media to find the abstraction of her observations, she builds images in layers organically to find the final visual statement in each piece.

    Great Country and Western Dance featuring local bands. Admission is only $6 per person and is open to the general public. (Members get $1 discount!)   6. Golden Age of Hollywood: A Dinner Extravaganza at the Kell House Museum

    Join the Kell House for a golden evening! Be the first to dine at the Kell family table in a century! Twelve lucky individuals will have the honor of being the first to enjoy a five-course dinner at the Kell House Museum. The theme for our premier Dinner Extravaganza is Golden Age of Hollywood! Guests are encouraged to dress like the movie stars and starlets of classical cinema from the 1920s through the 1960s. Drinks and appetizers will begin at 7:00 pm and attendees should allow at least two hours for the whole dining experience. Space is very limited, and reservations are required.
