  1. Kemp-Monroe Phase II Drainage Project Construction Area

    September 30, 2019, 8:00 AM - November 30, 2019, 10:00 PM @ Kemp Boulevard

    As part of the Kemp-Monroe Drainage Project Phase II, a new underground drainage system is being installed. This will require the contractor to divert traffic to one side of Kemp Blvd between Ave H and Ave J. One lane of traffic Northbound and one lane of traffic Southbound will be open through the construction area. The diversion of traffic on Kemp Blvd will begin Monday, September 30th and last for two months, weather permitting. Please drive slowly and use caution when traveling in this area.

  3. 8th Street Stormwater Drainage Repair and Street Closure

    The City of Wichita Falls Streets Division will be repairing a stormwater drainage pipe in the 800 block of 8th between Lamar and Scott Ave beginning Monday, November 11th. The repair is expected to take approximately three days.

  4. City Council Meeting

    The Wichita Falls City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of the Municipal Auditorium. The meeting are open to the public.

    Each November, the Chamber hosts an Economic Forum that focuses on a key piece of our economy. Recent speakers include the President of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, the CEO of Exxon/Mobil and the Chairman of Chase Bank. The speaker we’ve chosen this year is Jeff Moseley, CEO of Texas Association of Business, the largest business association in Texas, representing over 2800 businesses. Jeff has four decades of public and private sector experience, particularly in the transportation industry and economic development.
