If you have a Veteran or Active Duty Military Member that you want to honor, this is the event for you! Did you know the average weight carried by soldiers in Vietnam was over 85lbs? Or that the average weight carried in Afghanistan and Iraq was 60 - 100lbs of gear and body armor? Choose a 1 mile, 5 mile or 10 mile Ruck March and honor a loved one while supporting a mission. A Ruck March is simply walking while carrying a weighted backpack and is a staple of the military culture. During the March, participants will be marching in memory, or in honor of a Veteran in their life. This is YOUR time to walk in their boots for ten miles. The Race bibs will have a line where you can write in the name of the person whose memory or honor you are marching in. You’ll carry a loaded backpack to symbolically march in their place. Choose the team option or march individually.
