Code Enforcement

Mission Statment
As public servants, we will be open, ethical, responsive, accountable and dedicated to the public we serve.

Responsibilities
The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for inspecting property in an effort to ensure a safe, sanitary and clean city while reducing the appearance of slum and blight. Code Enforcement Officers enforce city ordinances related to weeds and grass, rubbish and trash, outdoor storage, front yard parking, unsecured structures, dilapidated structures and other ordinances targeted at improving the quality of life in Wichita Falls.

Goals
The goal of the Code Enforcement Division is to be proactive and responsive to the needs of the citizens of Wichita Falls while enforcing city ordinances. Compliance with these ordinances ensures that City neighborhoods are clean, safe places to live, work, and play and can help reduce vandalism, deter crime and maintain property values.
