Paige Lessor is the Executive Legal Assistant for the City Attorney’s Office. She joined the City in September 2021. Paige brings over 18 years of expertise in the legal field to her current role. As the Executive Legal Assistant, Paige provides comprehensive support to all the attorneys in the office, encompassing a wide variety of legal, clerical, and administrative services. Serving as the office manager, Paige is responsible for drafting, proofreading, and editing various legal documents, researching legal issues, filing legal documents, overseeing filing systems, records management, and website maintenance. Paige also plays a key role in the preparation of the yearly budget and monitoring budget expenditures.
Prior to her current role, Paige served for 12 years as a Courtroom Deputy, Court Coordinator, and Deputy Clerk with the U.S. District for the Northern District of Texas, where she provided invaluable support to two U.S. Magistrate Judges, the Honorable Hal R. Ray, Jr., and the Honorable Robert K. Roach. During her tenure, Paige developed a deep understanding of courtroom procedures, case management, and administrative operations within the federal judiciary.
Before her tenure with the federal court, Paige gained five years of experience as a legal assistant with a private attorney, where she focused on diverse areas of law, including personal injury litigation, criminal defense, family law, and simple estate planning.
Paige holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Midwestern State University, and she is currently working towards obtaining her Paralegal Certification, further enhancing her knowledge and expertise in the legal field.
With her extensive experience, exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong understanding of legal processes, Paige is a valued asset to the City Attorney’s Office.
