The following fees are effective as of October 5, 2023:
Permits:
- Process 1 (low to moderate risk): $206.00
- Process 2 (high risk): $232.00
- Process 3 (very high risk): $309.00
- Temporary events: $31.00 for non-profit event; $52.00 for for-profit event
- An additional permitting fee of $129.00 will be charged to a food establishment for each of the following activities at the establishment:
- Meat market
- Catering
- Bakery
- Snack bar
- Fish market
- Commissary
- Produce
Dog Patio
- Frozen Dessert/Soft Serve Permit: $155.00
- Seasonal Permits: $180.00
- Grease Trap Permit Fee: $77.00
- Late Fees: $26.00 for every month expired
Non-profit organizations which are exempt from federal tax liability under 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) are exempt from permit fees above, unless consideration is charged for the food served.
Certifications:
Food handler training certificate: $21.00 for each employee valid for two years.- Frozen dessert/soft serve operator certification: $21.00 for each employee valid for two years.
- Replacement training certificate/card: $5.00
Re-Inspection Fees:
- Each inspection: $77.00
- Soft-serve sample fee: $26.00
Plan Review Fees:
- New construction: $155.00
- Extensive remodel that requires construction: $103.00
- Concept change that requires change of equipment: $103.00
- Each requested site visit: $52.00
Permits:
- Swimming pool permits: $206.00 per pool per year (per pool, spa, and/or stand alone public interactive water feature)
Certifications:
- Manager of public and semi-public water-related activity operation (Pool School): $52.00 per manager per year.
Re-Inspection Fees:
- Re-inspection fees: $26.00 for each failed water sample
Permits:
- 7-10 Rooms: $103.00
- 11-25 Rooms: $129.00
- 26-50 Rooms: $155.00
- 51-75 Rooms: $206.00
- 76-100 Rooms: $232.00
- 101-150 Rooms: $258.00
- 151-200 Rooms: $309.00
- 201+ Rooms: $361.00
- Late Fees: $26.00 for every month expired
Permits:
- Annual body art establishment permit fee: $618.00
- Temporary event permit: $258.00
- Late Fees: $26.00 for every month expired
Certifications:
- Initial annual body art operator license fee: $515.00
- Renewal annual body art operator license fee: $103.00
- Apprenticeship fee: $103.00
- Temporary tattoo artist fee: $52.00
- Late Fees: $26.00 for every month expired
Testing Fees
- Initial testing fee: $103.00, which covers two attempts to pass the examination, and which amount will be credited toward the initial annual body art operator license fee.
- Additional attempts to pass the examination: $52.00, which will not be credited toward any license or permit fees.
OSSF Fees are collected for inspections of new installations or inspections of existing OSSF systems in those areas that the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has the Designated Representative authority:
- New Installation-Conventional System: $258.00 + $10.00 State Fee
- New Installation-Proprietary System with ongoing maintenance: $283.00 + $10.00 State Fee
- Property Transfer/Existing System Inspection: $155.00
- Additional Site Visits: $103.00
Note: Fees cover up to two site visits. Extra fee for additional trip.
Daycares, Foster Homes, and Schools:
- Daycare Inspection Fee: $103.00
- Foster Home Inspection Fee: $52.00
- There are no fees associated with a School Premises Inspection
Grease Traps and Waste Haulers:
- Grease Trap Permit Fee: $77.00
- Grease Trap Late Fee: $26.00 for every month expired
- Waste Hauler/Vacuum Truck Permit Fee: $155.00 per truck
- Waste Hauler/Vacuum Truck Late Fee: $26.00 for every month expired
Ambulances and Ambulance Franchises:
- Initial Franchise Application Fee: $515.00 (renewed every 5 years)
- Annual Franchise Fee: $103.00
- Annual permit fee per ambulance: $103.00
There are no fees associated with the Vector/Mosquito Control Program.
