The Parks Division works diligently to add to the quality of life in Wichita Falls by providing the public with colorfully landscaped medians, aesthetically pleasing parks, an extensive trail system used for running, walking, biking and rollerblading and many other beautification and activity projects.
Recreation programs cover a wide range of activities including softball, volleyball, kickball, flag football, disk golf, basketball, dance, fitness, special events, senior activities and more.
The Cemetery Division maintains four city-owned cemeteries with services including opening and closing of graves and facility maintenance.
