COVID-19 Operational Changes

To help protect citizens and employees from exposure to COVID-19, physical access to city facilities has been restricted or prohibited to the public until further notice. This includes the Code Enforcement Office. You may make a complaint using our Online Action Center located here. You may also call our office at 940.761.8841.

Violations related to non-compliance with the disaster declaration restrictions should be directed to the Police Department at 940.720.5000

The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for inspecting property in an effort to ensure a safe, sanitary and clean city while reducing the appearance of slum and blight. Code Enforcement Officers enforce city ordinances related to weeds and grass, rubbish and trash, outdoor storage, front yard parking, unsecured structures, dilapidated structures and other ordinances targeted at improving the quality of life in Wichita Falls.


The goal of the Code Enforcement Division is to be proactive and responsive to the needs of the citizens of Wichita Falls while enforcing city ordinances. Compliance with these ordinances ensures that City neighborhoods are clean, safe places to live, work, and play and can help reduce vandalism, deter crime and maintain property values.
