Crime Free Multi-Housing
A brand new crime prevention tool has come to Wichita Falls. On October 8, 2008, the City Council approved a Crime Free Multi-Housing ordinance. This ordinance will help strengthen the partnership and efforts of the Police Department and apartment communities to combat crime.

Improve Safety and Security
 The ordinance requires property managers with ten or more units to attend a FREE Crime Prevention course taught by Wichita Falls Police Officers. During the eight hour course you will learn: Crime Prevention Techniques, Improved Property Security, Key Control Procedures, Security Monitoring, Community Awareness, Correct
Response to Criminal Activity and much more.

All classes are held at the Public Safety Training Center - 710 Flood Street

•To date over 200 Apartment Managers have been certified.
•Training for Law Enforcement is also available so you can begin classes in your own community.
